Religion BriefsPTC Christian to host Oct. 31 event for kidsThe Peachtree City Christian Church invites all children in the community to attend Trunk or Treat on Sunday, Oct. 31, from 4-6 p.m. Come to the church dressed in costume and get goodies from members of the church who will be giving candy from their car trunks in the churchs parking lot. Local men attend Sharpsburg training sessionA training session for deacons and those considering the diaconate was held recently at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church in Sharpsburg. The one-day session was attended by men from across north and central Georgia and was conducted under the auspices of the Diocese of Georgia. Attending from the local area were Dcn. Jerome De Leo, Dcn. Bill Shelton, Fr. Dan Hale, Dcn. David Neece, Dcn. Tony McGee, Dcn. Michael St. Clair and Fr. David Epps, all from Christ the King, and Fr. FFUMC to sponsor Christmas Home TourFayetteville First United Methodist Church will sponsor a Christmas Home tour of six beautiful Fayette County homes on Dec. 3 and 4.
