PTC busts man for check theft, forgery

A man who stole checks from a toy store at The Avenue at Peachtree City was arrested after he used several of the checks at nearby businesses, according to Peachtree City Police.

Justin Polk, 33, of Williamson was arrested for theft and forgery, police said. The checks were stolen from Shenanigan’s Toys, police said.

Search warrants executed on Polk’s vehicle and home revealed items that were purchased using the stolen checks and cash, police said.
