Starr’s Mill wins area 2-AAAAA volleyball title, Sandy Creek in hunt for 4-AAAA title

Starr’s Mill’s varsity volleyball team defeated Fayette County in the area 2-AAAAA final, 25-21, 25-13 and 25-9 Thursday night. Sandy Creek faced McIntosh Thursday night and won 25-16 and 25-22. The Lady Patriots will take on Woodward Academy at Woodward Saturday at noon.
