PTC home used for trafficking cocaine, police say4 arrests made, more expected By JOHN MUNFORD
Four Coweta men were arrested Wednesday night after Peachtree City police seized more than 200 grams of suspected cocaine at a home in the Center Green subdivision, police said. A search of the house also revealed felony amounts of marijuana and methamphetamine along with $300 in cash, police said. An ongoing investigation was underway on the home for alleged drug activity, police added. According to Georgia law, it takes 28 grams of cocaine to qualify as a trafficking offense. More arrests in connection with the case are expected, police said. The four individuals initially arrested were: James Anthony Strickland, 22, of Senoia for felony counts of possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, trafficking in illegal drugs (cocaine) and misdemeanor counts of possession of zolpidem tartrate, possession of methamphetamine and possession of Xanax. Jeffery Bryan Boyd Jr., 21, of Newnan for possession of marijuana (less than one ounce). Travis Scot Neerings, 22, of Newnan for possession of marijuana (less than one ounce) and Brandon Luke Roberts, 21, of Sharpsburg for possession of marijuana (less than one ounce).
