Religion BriefsFFUMC plans Christmas Home TourFayetteville First United Methodist Church will sponsor a Christmas Home tour of six beautiful Fayette County homes on Dec. 3 and 4. Living Proof Church to sponsor Family Fun DayLiving Proof Church will sponsor a Tyrone Family Fun Day, Saturday, Oct. 23, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Shamrock Park. Activities for children will include Scooby Doo Moonwalk, Giant Slide, Princess Moonwalk, Trackless Train Ride, Double Lane Bungee Run, face painting, tattoos, puppets, clowns, live entertainment and a live radio show. Unity Christian to host Share the Love dayThe Unity Christian Church will host a special fellowship day for the Fayette and South Fulton communities on Sunday, Oct. 24, at 3:30 p.m. The service is called Share the Love, A Day for Fellowship in Unity, and will be held at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center, 2443 Ga. Hwy. 54 West, in Peachtree City. In addition to special music and a sermon, gifts and tokens of love will be presented, and refreshments will be provided. For more information, call 770-460-1453. Peachtree City Presbyterian hosts fall festivalPeachtree City First Presbyterian Church will host a Fall Festival Sunday, Oct. 24 from 4-7 p.m. at the church. Activities will include games, food, music, hayrides, pony rides, face painting, a dunk tank, pumpkin patch, pictures, and spin art. Attendees will have opportunities to make their own ice cream sandwiches and bob for apples. A variety of games for children also will be part of celebration. First Presbyterian Church is at 206 Willowbend Rd. off Ga. Hwy. 54 east near the Peachtree City Library. FFUMCs fall festival is Oct. 24Children ages preschool through fifth grade are invited to attend the annual Fall Festival at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church Sunday, Oct. 24, from 4-7 p.m. The event will be held in the Family Life Center and will include a moonwalk, carnival games, face painting, a cake walk, cotton candy and a costume contest (friendly costumes only, please). CDM to host Brag on God serviceChrist Discipleship Ministries (CDM) in Fairburn meets one evening per month for a time of prayer, praise and bragging on the goodness of God. The service includes Apostolic-Prophetic ministry, worship, testimonies and prayer. The next service will be Sunday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m. This is a come as you are service and is open to the public.
