Spivey Hall concert set for Oct. 25 broadcastClayton State part-time music faculty member and pianist Lisa Leongs most recent Spivey Hall concert will be broadcast on WABE-FMs (90.1) Atlanta Music Scene Oct. 25 at 9 p.m. Featuring music by Harvey, Adams and Stockhausen, Leongs performance on Atlanta Music Scene will be hosted by Tommy Joe Anderson. Leong, adjunct faculty at Clayton State, is currently pianist and artistic director of Bent Frequency, Atlantas newest contemporary music ensemble. She has appeared as guest soloist and collaborative artist at Spivey Hall, Mannes College in New York City, Middle Tennessee State University at Murfreesboro as well as other venues in Philadelphia, Boston and San Antonio.Ê Leong has worked with composers such as John Cage, Gunther Schuller and Mario Davidovsky, and performed with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Thamyris, Ensemble X, and Milwaukee Symphony clarinetist, William Helmers. Her performances have also been recorded and broadcast by National Public Radios Performance Today, Radio France and WGBH in Boston.
