Pfeifer makes national list for 3rd straight year

Pfeifer Building Co., Inc., was recently honored as on of the top 500 remodeling firms in the U.S. in September’s issue of Qualified Remodeler magazine for the third consecutive year, and fourth time in the last five years. The national publication honors the top remodeling firms in the country based on volume of work performed, in their annual Top 500 edition.

Pfeifer Building Co., based in Peachtree City since 1996, was ranked 477th nationally last year, and 430th the year before. The firm is a full service residential and commercial remodeling company.

“We are not out to be the biggest remodeling company,” said Duey Pfeifer of PBC, “but we can handle a large volume of work and still maintain the quality we’re known for.”

Pfeifer relies primarily on referrals and-word of-mouth advertising. As a member of the Midwest Ga. Homebuilders Association and the NAHB Remodelers Council, the company prides itself on its professional approach.

“I think now, more than ever, homeowners just want to be treated fairly”, said Pfeifer. “They want good work done in a timely manner.”

Pfeifer said that more and more untrained workers are “hopping on the remodeling wagon” and often end up being here today and gone tomorrow. “We’ve seen many different outfits come and go”, he said. “There are plenty of fly-by-nighters out there, and we’ve done our share of completing projects that they left unfinished.”
