There will also be a sponsored Childrens Walk of Honor in honor of our troops and veterans, and the pre-registration for that is at 9 a.m. beginning around 9:30 a.m. Many veterans groups and organizations will have tables set up with information about their groups as well as displays, military equipment and gear for everyone to get a close-up look at. All five branches of the military will be there as well. All veterans groups and organizations are welcome to come and set up their own tables, displays, equipment, recruit and raise money for their post/group/organization at the Freedom Festival. They should contact Joanne Consalvo-Mulvaney as soon as possible and will need to attend the pre-setup activities set for Friday, Oct. 15, at Heritage Park. Final setup is Saturday at 6:30 a.m. sharp. All tables and equipment must be set up and ready to go by 8 a.m. For more information about the festival as well as the Veterans Wall of Honor being constructed at Heritage Park, visit www.veteranswallofhonor.org.
