Two science teachers from Landmark Christian School were selected to attend the 2004 Sea Turtle Internship Course on St. Catherines Island, GA. Lynn Cooper and Susan Hayes lived on the undeveloped and largely uninhabited island for six days, while they observed sea turtle nesting, studied barrier islands natural history, and collected natural history specimens for their classrooms.
