Fulton County to Host Annual Job Fair November 4

Job-seekers can seek openings with more than 65 major employers during the Fulton County Human Services Department’s Office of Workforce Development’s seventh Annual Job Fair November 4.

More than 2,500 persons are expected to attend the event, which will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Georgia World Congress Center, 285 Andrew Young International Boulevard, NW, in Atlanta.

Representatives from private and public employers such as Staples, IBM, United Parcel Service, MCI, MARTA, the Georgia Department of Labor, and the Fulton County Personnel Department will accept applications and résumés, and conduct interviews.Ê

Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Business attire is suggested.

The Office of Workforce Development provides year-round comprehensive employment and training services for Fulton County residents of all skill levels. Three “Comprehensive Career Centers” in north, central and south Fulton County offer assessment, counseling, job readiness workshops, internships and skills training. ÊÊ
