Culinary group hosts fundraiser featuring Atlantas best cuisineThe Atlanta Chapter of Les Dames dEscoffier, a worldwide society of women in the culinary field, will host Dinner on the Grounds featuring Atlantas best cuisine and an array of world-renowned wines. This annual fundraising event will be held forty minutes south of Atlanta at Serenbe Bed & Breakfast in Palmetto, Georgia October 24. Inviting city folks to come and spend a day in the country, a ticket of $75 per person and $125 per couple supports Atlanta's Les Dames dEscoffier scholarship fund and Georgias organic farming community. Children ages 12 and under may attend free of charge. The event will be held from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. and features a bluegrass band, a silent auction with dining and travel packages and a lavish feast prepared by 30 of Atlantas top chefs and premium wine and beer tasting. Some of Atlantas most renowned restaurants will be represented including 103 West, Aqua Blue, Aria, Baccanalia, Hi Life, MidCity Cuisine, ONE. Midtown kitchen, Park 75, Rathbuns, Sias, Sweet Auburn Bread Company, Tierra, Van Goghs and Woodfire Grill. One of the finest gastronomic events in the city of Atlanta, Dinner on the Grounds will consist of approximately 300 food lovers socializing in a relaxing atmosphere. Les Dames DEscoffier is dedicated to creating a supportive culture in the community, fostering excellence and promoting the achievement of women in culinary professions through educational and charitable activities.
