Tiger Marital Arts capture 21 medals in TampaAthletes from Tiger Martial Arts, Fayetteville, which teaches Olympic style Tae Kwon Do, braved the threat of Hurricane Ivan to compete Sept. 11 in the Tekno Atlantic Games in Tampa, Fla. The 12-member team, led by head coach Master Eid M. Koja and three assistant coaches and supporter Naila K Al-Sack, Eddie Reed and Marvin Larry, won a total of 21 medals; six gold, seven silver and eight bronze. Medalists for the team were: Carson Todd - silver in forms, gold in sparring. David Collins - gold in forms, silver in sparring. Immanuel Larry - silver in forms, gold in sparring. Brianna Miller - gold in forms and sparring. Chris E. Martin - silver in forms and sparring. Wesley Reed - bronze in forms. Matt D. Martin - bronze in forms. William Edwards - bronze in forms and sparring. Christian Martins - bronze in forms. Trenton Edwards - bronze in forms, silver in sparring. Savannah B. Jordan - silver in forms, gold in sparring. Aladdin E. Koja - bronze in forms and sparring.
