It is always nice to see familiar faces around you in that place
we call home. We like to know where to shop, which school to
choose, where to go for medical attention.
Marat Plotkin, M.D., is familiar to many of you who ever took
a child to the Fayette Community Hospital Emergency Room. Now
he is happy to announce that he will be opening his office in
November in Tyrone. The name of the new practice will be HealthPoint
Pediatrics, and the phone number is 770-631-1040. He will be
practicing general pediatrics for kids and complementary medicine
for everybody.
Dr. Plotkin completed his pediatric residency at the Mayo Clinic
in Rochester, Minn., and had additional pediatric cardiology
training at the Duke University Medical Center. He has been practicing
general pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine in our area
for 7 years, five of them in the emergency departments of your
local Fayette Community Hospital and Scottish Rite Children’s
Hospital.
His new office is being built in the Shamrock Industrial Park,
off Ga. Highway 74, just outside of Peachtree City. It promises
to be beautiful, bright, and to have lots of parking spaces.
As you drive by, watch it grow and shape, maybe it will be your
doctor’s office one day.
