Fayette Community Hospital is hosting a six-week program designed
to assist people who are ready to quit smoking.Ê The class, entitled “Freedom
From Smoking,” is comprised of seven sessions over a six-week
period.ÊDaytime and evening classes will be available.The daytime
sessions will begin Oct. 5 and run every Tuesday through Nov.
9 from 8-10 a.m. and from 6-8 p.m., including one Thursday session
Oct. 21.
Led by an American Lung Association’s trained facilitator,
the class promises to be both informative and enlightening.ÊCome
and hear proven strategies to quit smoking and share with others
going through the same experience. Class space is limited and
the registration fee is $25.
