St. Vincent de Paul sets yard sale

The St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Tyrone will have a community yard sale Friday, Sept. 24, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 25, from 8 -11 a.m. Proceeds will benefit families in need through the parish’s local conference of the St. Vincent de Paul society. Donations are being provided by both local merchants and families. The sale will be held at the church, one-half mile off Ga. Hwy. 74 on Kirkley Road, near the Wendell Coffee Golf Center.
