New Web site to spotlight development in Coweta

The Coweta County Development Authority announced the launch of a new Web site, www.developcoweta.com. This launch completes a major step in the new marketing campaign spearheaded by Executive Director Bill Harrison.

Harrison was hired by Coweta County in November 2003 as part of a new initiative by the Coweta County Commissioners who charged the Coweta County Development Authority with the primary responsibility for the Countyís economic development.

Harrison states, “This new Web site was the next logical step to promote Coweta County to business, industry clients and prospects looking to expand in or relocate to the county.”

The new website was designed by BrightNight Media, Inc., a web development and graphic design firm also located in Newnan, GA.

"The Authority’s new website features an interactive industrial site map highlighting the four main industrial parks located in the county." says David Stover, President and lead designer of BrightNight Media, Inc. "Visitors to the website will be able to click on any of the industrial parks as well as the Newnan-Coweta Airport and zoom in on an overhead view of that particular area."

The Coweta County Development Authority owns, and the county manages, operates and markets the Shenandoah and Creekside Industrial Parks that are highlighted on the website.The Authority provides services to structure economic development and assist in many phases of the development process. For the last few years, Coweta County has been on the forefront of growth in the Metro Atlanta area where a significant focus is aimed at south of Atlanta growth.

Harrison states, “Cooperation with local, regional and state agencies is key in promoting business expansion and/or relocation to Coweta County. Our convenient location makes us very attractive for continued growth.”
