RV show is this weekend

A vacation home in the mountains or at the beach is a wonderful getaway but one problem is that you feel you MUST go there anytime you have free time.

Many American families are discovering that they can have a mountain AND beach getaway simply by owning an RV and they are buying them at a record pace.

So big is the show, already the largest indoor show in the southeast.that a big, circus-style tent had be added to accommodate the huge influx of $19 million worth of RVs.

The fall show will feature a close-out sale of 2004 models and introduction of some 2005 units as well.

The products range from luxury motorhomes to economical folding campers, all at close-out prices and there are other benefits.

“Financing is at the lowest rate it has ever been and some RV notes are even cheaper than your car note,” Tuggle said. In many cases insurance on a luxury motorhome costs less than it would for a mid-sized auto. Lending institutions that specialize in RV loans will be at the show along with insurers.

Sales are surging nationwide.

Last year, the RV industry earned record revenues of over $12 billion. Increasing consumer demand this year has spurred record shipment numbers in the first part of 2004, according to the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association.
