A vacation home in the mountains or at the beach is a wonderful getaway but one problem is that you feel you MUST go there anytime you have free time.
Many American families are discovering that they can have a mountain AND beach getaway simply by owning an RV and they are buying them at a record pace.
They have an excellent opportunity to find just the right motorhome or camper at a discount price during the Atlanta Camping and RV Fall Show, September 23-26 at the Atlanta Exposition Center South.
Its going to be one of the biggest and best weve had because there are more dealers in the show and more baby boomers who want to buy them, said Mark Tuggle, president of the Metro Atlanta Recreational Vehicle Dealers Association.
So big is the show, already the largest indoor show in the southeast.that a big, circus-style tent had be added to accommodate the huge influx of $19 million worth of RVs.
The fall show will feature a close-out sale of 2004 models and introduction of some 2005 units as well.
The products range from luxury motorhomes to economical folding campers, all at close-out prices and there are other benefits.
Financing is at the lowest rate it has ever been and some RV notes are even cheaper than your car note, Tuggle said. In many cases insurance on a luxury motorhome costs less than it would for a mid-sized auto. Lending institutions that specialize in RV loans will be at the show along with insurers.
Sales are surging nationwide.
Last year, the RV industry earned record revenues of over $12 billion. Increasing consumer demand this year has spurred record shipment numbers in the first part of 2004, according to the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association.
Other features in addition to millions of dollars worth of RVs include:
The Dream Camper, a motorhome built in 1923.
Representatives from commercial campgrounds, attractions, State and Regional Organizations.
Door prizes, including 10 pairs of tickets to the October 29-31 Bass Pro Shops MBNA 500 Nextel Cup Series Race and 80 $25 gift certificates from Kroger.
