Safety Extravaganza is Saturday

The Grantville Better Home Town (GBHT) organization, which last year held a public meeting to rally support for the construction of the Grantville Elementary School and this year on Grantville Day welcomed the teachers of this school, is now encouraging attendance at the first two programs sponsored by the Grantville Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO).

GBHT is not involved in any way in the planning or operation of these programs; it is merely encouraging the people in Grantville and in the surrounding area to participate in these programs, which are solely the responsibility of the Grantville Elementary PTO. The first of these programs is a Safety Extravaganza and the second is a Yard Sale. The following information on these events was provided by the President of the Grantville Elementary PTO, Traci Segraves. Both of these events will be held at the new Grantville Elementary School.

Grantville Elementary PTO would like to invite you to join us at our Safety Extravaganza September 25 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Activities include: fire safety, bicycle safety, 911, games, raffles, concessions, giant slide, moon walk, & more! Parking for event will be in front of school. Walk around back to join in festivities.
