OLM performs well in their own cross country meet

Our Lady of Mercy recently held the Mercy Invitational cross country meet at their school. The boys placed third, behind Alexander and Northview, while the girls placed fifth behind Alexander, Pace Academy, Northview and Roswell.

The top five runners for the Our Lady of Mercy boys were:

• Zach Lethbridge, 8, 18:05

• Ryan Schilling, 13, 18:18

• Patrick Super, 19, 18:33

• Matthew Faber, 29, 19:05

• Albert Jumper, 31, 19:14

The top five runners for the Our Lady of Mercy girls were:

• Samantha Jumper, 12, 22:13

• Marina Fleming, 18, 22:53

• Kelsey Oberst, 21, 23:09

• Savini Santha, 22, 23;19

• Brittany Arietta, 70, 26:18

Our Lady of Mercy and Landmark will compete in the Patriot Invitational this weekend, while Starr’s Mill, McIntosh and Fayette County will be among the teams competing in the LaGrange Invitational.

The Sandy Creek Invitational, scheduled for last Saturday, was cancelled.
