Nonprofits must apply for grants by Oct. 15

The Community Foundation for Fayette County announced that it has been awarded a “Challenge Grant” from The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta. Matching funds were raised locally and will be matched with $5,000 by TCF.

Grants are awarded by a competitive process to help qualified nonprofit Fayette County organizations meet the changing needs of the community.

Those nonprofit (501-c-3) county organizations must apply by October 15, 2004 for consideration.

The Foundation awards grants based on identified community needs and the relative merit of proposals received.
