Chamber pleased with Business Expo

The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce Chair, Vicki Turner, was she was very pleased with the outcome of this year’s Business Expo.

Over 104 tables were set up at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center for the 14th annual Business Expo, an increase of six table last year. Over 300 people came to sample the products of Fayette County businesses or to seek information.

Eight of them donated prizes which included a DVD player, tickets to the Great Georgia Airshow, tickets from Delta air Lines, a 27-inch flat-screen TV and commercial home services.

“We had 15 or 20 tables at the first show,“ said Turner, “and I have personally worked on the last nine of them. The Expo has provided an opportunity for local businesses to present its products and services in an open forum. The Trade Show format has worked well and has been a great networking opportunity for everyone involved.”
