Community worship event Sunday at Villages Amphitheater

An effort called “Mission Jesus” and churches in the Fayetteville area will present an evening of community worship called, “Unite Fayette,” Sunday at 7 p.m. at The Villages Amphitheater in Fayetteville.

“Our evening together will simply focus on Jesus and worshiping Him together as the Body of Christ,” said Gray Harwell, speaking on behalf of Mission Jesus.

Ray Walker of Perimeter South Community Church and a team from various churches will lead in worship. Bruce Hebel of Grace Evangelical and three other Fayette pastors also will be featured speakers.

“Our purpose is to invite ‘The Church’ in Fayette County to come together to worship our Lord. There will be no admission charge and no offering will be taken because Mission Jesus, Papa John’s Pizza and WVFJ-FM 93.3 are covering expenses,” Harwell said.

“We believe it will bring great joy to God, our Father, and glory to Jesus, our Lord, if we, His children, will come together to worship Him as His body,” Harwell added. “We would love for all churches to join their voices with ours in worship on Sunday at the Villages Amphitheater.”
