Few local artists ever emerge from the shadows of obscurity to actually get nocticed. But Tiffany Clark, a long-time singer and actress who grew up in Peachtree City, has done just that. Having signed a recording contract with HoneyBee Records a year ago. Tiffanys debut CD entitled Trophy Girl is now available for public consumption. Produced by Emmy nominated composer, Erik Grant Bennett, the CD contains ten original pop songs that have already received attention from members of the local music industry.
No stranger to the spotlight, Clark has worked in the performing arts almost her whole life. She appeared at age 13 as Suzy Harper in the Walt Disney motion picture Tom and Huck, a 1995 remake of the classic Mark Twain story, starring Johnathan Taylor Thomas and Rachel Leigh Cook. Before that Clark had already been working on stage for years with The Atlanta Workshop Players, a touring theater group with which she has performed since an early age. To complement her natural instincts as a performer, Clark received extensive training in singing, acting, and dancing, studying the latter with such greats as Mia Michaels, Tommy Sutton, Kenneth Greene, Doris Russell and K.C. Cherie, recording artist and owner of Atlantas Pulse Dance Academy.
From the girl-punk song Better Off Alone to radio-friendly Letting Go and Talking To Myself, Tiffnays effort is decidedly engaging.
