Directions to away games

Fayette County, Starr’s Mill, Sandy Creek and Whitewater will all be on the road this weekend. The Tigers will take on Newnan, the Panthers will face Union Grove and the Patriots will meet Chapel Hill. All of those games are scheduled for Friday, while Whitewater will play at North Oconee High School on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

• To get to Newnan High School, take Georgia Highway 54 towards Coweta County. Take Ga. Hwy 34 to downtown Newnan and turn on LaGrange Street.

• To get to Union Grove High School, take McDonough Road past Lovejoy High School to Jonesboro Road. Go north on I-75 one exit to Jodeco Road. Jodeco Road will dead end, turn left on to Georgia Highway 42. Turn right at the first traffic light on to Campground Road. Turn left aat next light on to Ga. Hwy 155. Go two miles, turn right on to East Lake Road and the school is on the right.

• To get to Chapel Hill High School, take I-20 West to Exit 36, Chapel Hill. Stay in the left lane on to Chapel Hill Road South, continue for five miles and the school is on the right.

• To get to North Oconee High School, take I-85 to Georgia 316. Take exit 106, the Lawrenceville/Athens exit. Turn right on to Georgia Highway 53/Hog Mountain Road and turn left on to Rocky Branch Rd.
