St. Vincent de Paul sets yard sale The St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Matthews Catholic Church in Tyrone will have a community yard sale Friday, Sept. 24 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 25, from 8 -11 a.m. Proceeds will benefit families in need through the parishs local conference of the St. Vincent de Paul society. Donations are being provided by both local merchants and families. The sale will be held at the church, one-half mile off Ga. Hwy. 74 on Kirkley Road, near the Wendell Coffee Golf Center. Grace Evangelical plans financial seminar Grace Evangelical Church will host a one-day financial seminar, Journey to Financial Freedom, Saturday, Sept. 25 from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. The cost is $20 per person and includes materials, lunch and snacks. Holy Trinity will sponsor Fiesta Oct. 2 The 4th Annual Hispanic Fiesta, sponsored by Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City, will be held Saturday, Oct. 2, from 2 to 5 p.m. Last years crowd numbered about 800, and more are expected for this years celebration. The Fiesta features activities for all ages including dancing, music, cultural displays, food samplings, games and contests. Because of construction on the regular site, this year the event will be called Fiesta in the Park and will take place at Picnic Park, directly behind City Hall.
