Bad Links? | Velda Schirhart will speak at PTC Aglows Sept. meetingVelda Schirhart, director of the Center of Whole Life Ministires in Augusta, will be featured as the guest speaker at the upcoming meeting of Peachtree City Aglow on Monday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. With a glorious gift of healing through the power of the Holy Spirit, Velda brings the love and grace of the Lord to those who are sick, a spokesperson said. It is our heavenly Fathers hearts desire that we be healed and there is provision for healing in the Word of God. Velda, a mother, grandmother, former social worker and a registered nurse for 16 years now directs the Healing Center of Whole Life Ministries in Augusta, Georgia. The purpose of the Healing Center is to teach what the Bible says about health, healing,and wholeness and to teach participants how to experience the healing power of God. As part of her ministry, Velda lays hands on people and prays for healing. The meeting will be at Calvary Temple Assembly of God on Robinson Road, just south of Ga. Hwy. 54, across from First United Methodist Church. A free nursery is provided. Aglow is an international, interdenominational ministry for women. Men are also welcome.
