Donations being accepted for CCSU silent auction

The Clayton College & State University Women's Forum will host its Third Annual Silent Auction on Tuesday, Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the University Center Commons.

Last year's Silent Auction raised $4,900 through donations from faculty, staff, retirees, and area businesses, enabling the Women's Forum to award five educational scholarships to three students and two staff members.

Donations for this year’s event must be received by Oct. 13 at http://adminservices.clayton.edu/wom_forum or call Joan McElroy at 770-961-3518.

Drop-off locations for donations are the University Library, room 126, and the University Student Center, room 223. All donations are tax deductible. Previous donations to the Silent Auction have ranged from arts & crafts to books and CDs, paintings, weekend get-aways, jewelry, gift certificates, baked goods, house cleaning and yardwork, baby and pet sitting, car maintenance, tutoring, music and art lessons.
