Challenge grant awarded to Community Foundation

The Community Foundation for Fayette County announced that it has been awarded a “Challenge Grant” from The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta. Matching funds were raised locally and will be matched with $5,000 by TCF.

Grants are awarded by a competitive process to help qualified nonprofit Fayette County organizations meet the changing needs of the community.

Barbara Merlie, executive director for Fayette County, said she was very pleased with the response in Fayette County.
