Bad Links? | Now theyre cookingHot lunches will no longer be delivered to St Paul Lutheran School. But not to worry, the students wont starve. Now, under the experienced eye of Gloria Delancy, the newly hired cafeteria manager, St Paul students will get their hot lunches in their new cafeteria kitchen. Dedicated Aug. 15, the gleaming new kitchen is fully outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and represents a dream come true for the students and faculty alike, especially principal Dan Palisch. Ever since the first day I arrived and realized what a wonderful facility St Paul has, and what a blessing a kitchen would be to the school and Church programs, I knew that the possibilities were unlimited and I would do all I could to make it a reality, said Palisch. The cafeteria was actually constructed in 1999 but the shell for the kitchen was left empty until enough funds could be raised to build it. Thanks to fundraising efforts that were generously supported by the schools parents and teachers, as well as church members, and community organizations and businesses, the kitchen finally became reality this summer. The cafeteria is likewise a dream come true for the St. Paul Lutheran Church congregation. Now, fellowship meals and community dinners, among other things, can take place on the premises, without having to worry about factors such as the logistics of delivery and set-up. This kitchen is such a fantastic blessing and the St. Paul family has already begun to put it to use it for Gods glory! exclaimed Senior Pastor Daniel Schepmann. St. Paul Lutheran Church and School is located at 700 Ardenlee Parkway in Peachtree City. It is a fully accredited school for early childhood classes through eighth grade, with a wide variety of academic programs, athletics, and extracurricular activities. St. Paul Lutheran Church offers two traditional and contemporary worship services on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., respectively with Bible classes for all ages at 9:45 a.m. For more information, call 770-486-3545.
