DAPC continues search for lawyer

The Peachtree City Development Authority held a special called meeting Tuesday night. The main purpose of the meeting was to advance the authority’s search for legal representation, which they did. The authority has narrowed their choices down to two law firms and will interview representatives frm those firms sometime next week.

The authority also needed to select a new meeting place since their old meeting place, the downstairs room of the Peachtree City Library, is unavailable for the next year due to the renovation and expansion project. The Development Authority will now meet the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. Their next scheduled meeting will be Tuesday, Sept. 21.
