Berachah to offer ladies Bible Study Berachah Bible Church will offer a 10-week inductive Bible study of Genesis 1-11 for ladies, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 14,from 9:30- 11:30 a.m. Childcare will be provided. New Testament Bible study offered Dr. Judy Massey of Peachtree City will lead a survey of the New Testament (1 Thessalonians through Revelation) at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church on Tuesday mornings from 10 a.m. until noon, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 14. Massey received a doctor of ministry degree from Regent University and has taught and ministered internationally. There is no charge for the course and a nursery for small children is provided. For information, call 770-631-3566. First Baptist elects deacons for 2004-2005 The congregation Fayetteville First Baptist Church recently selected deacons to serve during the 2004-2005 year. Those elected were Brian Ballard, Jim Biles, Dan Graddy, Greg Harrell, Wayne Howell, Keith Louthan, Joe Lynch, David Mowell and Jim Robinson. The church is on Stonewall Avenue, one block from the Fayette County Courthouse in downtown Fayetteville. Inman UMC to co-sponsor Inman Farm Heritage Inman United Methodist Church will again be among the co-sponsors of the annual Inman Farm Heritage days, scheduled for Sept. 17, 18 and 19, at the Minter Farm in Inman. The event features displays of antique farming equipment including antique tractors, threshing, baling, saw milling and blacksmith equipment, a grist mill, arts and crafts, a church service, childrens activities, food, music and more. Antique International Harvester tractors will be featured, as well as a historical school, store, log cabin and post office. Circle of Love sets trip to Reinhardt Bethany United Methodist Churchs Circle of Love ladies group will travel to the Reinhardt College Museum in Waleska Thursday, Sept. 16, and will have lunch at the Dillard House. David Singer is new organist at Christ Our Hope The worship and music committee at Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church in Riverdale recently selected David Singer as the new church organist. Singer has a bachelor of sacred music from Nyack College in Nyack, N.Y. and has served a number of churches in New York and New Jersey. He most recently was organist for Christ Lutheran Church in Suffern, N.Y. He also is an accomplished pianist and experienced in contemporary worship.
