Raleigh Ringers performance is this weekend

Peachtree City United Methodist Church will host the world-famous Raleigh Ringers, a nonprofit community handbell choir from Raleigh, N.C., in concert on Saturday, Sept. 11.

The group consists of auditioned musicians under the direction of David M. Harris.

The group performs with six different types of bells and chimes, costumes and choreography.

“Performances are visually stunning and are a treat for the ears whether one enjoys classical or contemporary music,” a spokesperson said. “The Ringers have received high praise from casual listeners and professional musicians alike.”

The group plays several local concerts each year, as well as providing music for weddings, arts festivals, meetings and community events.
