Lady Panthers drop Lovejoy 15-0

The Starr’s Mill Lady Panthers had two games scheduled for this week but their game against South Gwinnett on Monday was postponed due to rain. The game will be made up at a date yet to be determined.

Starr’s Mill’s game against Lovejoy on Tuesday was played as scheduled and the Lady Panthers won 15-0. Jackie Jones pitched a gem, allowing only one hit, while the Starr’s Mill offense fired on all cylinders. Coach Mark Williamson saw all of his players get at least one hit in the win, while Rachel Watson and Rebecca Aszman each went two for three at the plate and drive in some runs.

Starr’s Mill will host Walton on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. and will host Mundy’s Mill on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
