Atlanta Cup returns this weekend

The 23rd annual Atlanta Cup soccer tournament is coming to town. Hosted by Georgia State Soccer Association in conjunction with its member leagues this premier event is the kickoff to the fall playing season and is a highly anticipated competition each Labor Day weekend.

Come out to McCurry Park this Saturday and Sunday and watch the fierce competition as both boys and girls teams from 10 to 19, battle to play again on “Championship Monday.” With over 630 teams in attendance the Atlanta Cup, now the largest three-day tournament in the US, is sure to be a weekend of great soccer.

The Atlanta Cup is the largest fundraiser for Georgia State Soccer Association. Monies raised help pay for many programs throughout the state.
