Nativity to host interfaith service The Episcopal Church of the Nativity will host the third annual Interfaith Service Tuesday, Sept. 7, at 7 p.m. The service brings together members of the Jewish, Christian, and Islamic communities. Faith Bible Church to offer study of Ephesians Beginning Sept. 7, Faith Bible Church will offer an inductive Bible study of the book of Ephesians which will meet on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Immanuel Bible College. The study runs from September through May. The cost for materials is $20 before Sept. 7 and $25 after. Childcare is provided. Immanuel Bible College is two miles west of Peachtree City on Ga. Hwy 34. Timothy Frazier, pastor at Christ Discipleship Ministries in Fairburn, will be the speaker at Eleventh Hour Call Church in Fayetteville, Sundays, Sept. 5, 12 and 19, at 3 p.m. The church meets at 395 S. Glynn St. (Ga. Hwy. 85) in Fayetteville, downstairs from Fayette Mower. PTC First Baptist plans ladies delight Ladies of the community are invited to enjoy an evening out, with supper and a speaker, at Peachtree City First Baptist Church, Thursday, Sept. 9, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Joy Earle of Acworth will speak on the subject, Free To Be Me. S.A.G.E. trip to Abbeville planned The S.A.G.E. senior adult group at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will travel to Abbeville, S.C. Sept. 30 for a tour of the historic town and lunch at Yodors Mennonite Restaurant. Travel will be by deluxe motor coach. Reservations must be made by Sept. 10. Providence to host non-denominational study Providence United Methodist Church will host Community Bible Study, a seven-month, non-denominational study of the Bible, beginning Friday, Sept. 10 and ending Friday, April 29. September 11 remembrance service planned The Peachtree City Christian Church will observe a special time of remembrance of the September 11th tragedy from 5 - 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11. The worship center will be open during that time for those desiring a place for prayer and reflection. At 6:30 p.m. a brief devotional will be given. Dr. George S. Dillard III will officiate. New Testament Bible study offered Dr. Judy Massey of Peachtree City will lead a survey of the New Testament (1 Thessalonians through Revelation) at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church on Tuesday mornings from 10 a.m. until noon, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 14. Massey received a doctor of ministry degree from Regent University and has taught and ministered internationally. There is no charge for the course and a nursery for small children is provided.
