Prince of Peace Lutheran announces fall programs

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church will resume Wednesday night programming on Sept. 8. Confirmation classes for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders will begin at 6:30 p.m. A Bible study for senior high youth is offered at 6:30 p.m.

The children’s choirs also will begin a new year. The Cherub Choir for ages three to first grade, rehearses from 6-6:30 p.m. and the Kids’ Music Company for second through fifth grade rehearses from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

The church will host Rally Day Sunday, Sept. 12. Members will kickoff new adult, children, and youth classes.

Adults will study the “Experiencing God” series by Henry Blackaby after the 9:30 a.m. service.

God Squad, the youth musical production ministry at Prince of Peace for middle and high school youth will resume on Rally Day. The high school group meets from 2-4 p.m. and the middle school rehearses from 4-5:30 p.m. These are non-audition groups.

A new 12-week ladies Bible study, Beth Moore’s “Living Beyond Yourself,” will meet Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. beginning Sept. 14. Workbook cost is $14. Register online at www.popdove.com or call 770-716-8113.
