Senior Services needs volunteersFayette Senior Services is looking for volunteers to help with the needs of our seniors. Our greatest need is for Volunteer Drivers, volunteers to deliver Meals On Wheels and activities helpers in the Friendship Center. You can make a difference by volunteering to help the seniors in Fayette County. Which one of these volunteer opportunities works best for you? Volunteer Drivers, Drive seniors to medical appointments. You pick your on-call day, morning or afternoon. Trips are between two and four hours. Meals On Wheels, Deliver meals one day a week, one to two hours. Delivery starts around 11:15 a.m. Frozen Meal delivery, Deliver frozen meals one day per week. Openings on Thursdays and Fridays. Delivery starts around 10 a.m. Friendship Center, Help in the Center with games, crafts, activities and lunch from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. one day per week.
