Thurmond to speak to Fayette Dems

Georgia Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond will headline the Fayette County Democratic Committee's annual Jefferson-Jackson luncheon Saturday, Sept. 18, at 12:30 p.m. at Right on Thyme restaurant at 174 N. Glynn Street in Fayetteville.

FCDC's chairwoman, Judy M. Chidester, has announced that tickets for this annual event are now on sale. Tickets are $20. Quantities are limited and will sell out quickly.
