A new year at a new schoolFourth-grader Alexandria Alvarez of Fayetteville works on math homework Monday while after-school coordinator Sandi Haner (background) helps other students with their studies at Landmark Christian School's new Peachtree City location. The branch campus opened Aug. 9 at Braelinn Baptist Church on Robinson Road with 45 students in pre-K, kindergarten, first, third and fourth grades. Gail Emanuel, lead teacher, said those numbers are expected to grow as second and fifth grades are added. Landmark purchased the building earlier this year and plans to take over the facility once Braelinn Baptist relocates to a new campus on Ga. Highway 74 North in about a year. Landmark's main campus, including the upper grades, remains in Fairburn. Photo/J. Frank Lynch.
