Zeldin offers life-coachingCindy Zeldin doesnt believe in living in the past. We really have to create new possibilities, instead of dwelling in the past, said the Peachtree City newcomer. Zeldin moved here from Indiana and brought her successful life-enhancement coaching profession with her. After being a psychotherapist for more than 20 years, Zeldin decided to give the realtively new profession of life coaching a try. Life coaching helps to motivate people to achieve their goals and attain personal fulfillment, she added. There is a huge difference between psychotherapy and coaching. Coaching focuses on wellness, not pathology and it is about creating a future, Zeldin said. The always perky Zeldin decided to move from Indiana because her children were in Atlanta, and she has a strong affinity for golf. I also thought Peachtree City would be very open to life coaching, she said. Zeldin works with her clients through a variety of communication tools; email, telephone calls and personal meetings. The first step in coaching is helping get people organized, and then helping them determine their goals. One of the more interesting exercises clients do is filling out the Wheel of Life. The wheel features eight areas of life, such as career, money, health and family and friends. Each area is ranked from 0-10 according to the clients satisfaction level. After completing the wheel, the areas that are out of balance are discovered. Its all about keeping balance in all areas of your life, she said. Zeldin charges $150 per hour for her service, and said most clients should count on at least three months in coaching to help attain their goals. You cant live in fear and I can help you attain your goals, she said.
