Back to school fair set for Saturday

State Representative Virgil Fludd (D-Fayetteville) will hold a district community fair Saturday from 2:30 Ð 6:00 p.m. at the Crowe's Nest Parking Lot located off Old National Highway.

The theme is "Healthy, Wealthy and Wise Ð Back to School, Back to Health, Back to Community." From 2:30-3:00 p.m. a legislative update will be given about redistricting and district projects affecting our community. Constituents can avail themselves to a free health screening, home buying and financial literacy information and children services. There will be free food, entertainment, a special section for children with balloons and face painting, and representatives from area Police and Fire Departments will be in attendance.

“I encourage all citizens in South Fulton County and Northern Fayette County to attend what will be a fun and informative day for everyone,” said Rep. Fludd. “I love hearing from my constituents and this will be wonderful gathering of people from the community.”
