Fayette-Coweta Family Theatre is set to hold open auditions
for their Youth Musical Production of “Enchanted Sleeping
Beauty” on Saturday, August 21. All ages from 8 to 16 are
needed to bring to life this lovely fairy tale that is full of
captivating music, humor and memorable characters. Auditions
will be held at St. Paul Lutheran School at 700 Ardenlee Parkway
in Peachtree City. Productions of Sleeping beauty are scheduled
fro September 30 - October 3 at Spring Hill Elementary School
stage. Rehearsals will run on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday night
beginning August 23 and running through September 28. Rehearsals
will run from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Auditions will consist of taught
song and dance from the show and cold readings from the script
All audition materials will be supplied to those trying out.
If cast in the production, there will be a $45 costume rental
fee due at the first rehearsal. There are over thirty roles available.
Ages 8 -11 should arrive at 11 a.m. and ages 12-16 should arrive
at 2:30 p.m. Call bcaks for all roles will befrom 6 - 7:30 p.m.
FCFT will also offer an “Art of AUditioning Workshop” on
Friday, August 20 fro 5-8 p.m. for ages 8 - 13 years. Fee is
$45 and is a great workshop to prepare yourself for the Sleeping
Beauty audititons. Space in workshop is limited so call early
