Several complete Alpha Course at Christ the KingSeveral members of the community recently completed the Alpha Course, a free, 10-week non-denominational course covering the basics of the Christian faith, taught by Fr. Paul and Dr. Judy Massey at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church in Sharpsburg. The Alpha Course was first started at an Anglican church in England and now is taught in thousands of churches representing hundreds of different denominations, including Roman Catholic, Pentecostal, Episcopal, Methodist, Salvation Army and house churches. Participating from Peachtree City included Tylor Dimmig, Robin Dimmig, Jacqueline Doyle, Michael Doyle, James Statzer, Kim Statzer, Elizabeth Podolski, Tom Johnson, Dawn Johnson, Danielle Johnson and Josh Johnson. Those attending from Sharpsburg included Mike Harris, Donna Harris, Karen Quinn, Scott Quinn, Patti McMullan and James McMullan. Others attending included John McGeachy and Angie McGeachy of Senoia, Michael Handley and Deborah Handley of Atlanta, and Sheryl Liptak and Joseph Liptak of Fayetteville.
