New Hires at Region Bank

•Regions Bank announced that Jim Daughtry has joined their lending group as a vice president of commercial lending in Fayette County. He has 30 years of experience in commercial lending, most recently with The Bank of Georgia and SouthTrust Bank.

Daughtry and his wife, Ann, have resided in Sharpsburg since 1986. As a leader in the community, he serves on the board of directors as co-chairperson for The Field of Hope and is an active member in the Rotary Club.He is a Marine Corps Vietnam veteran and a member of Saint Mathews Catholic Church. He looks forward to the lending opportunities he is able to offer his customers now with the strength of Regions Banks located in 15 states with over 1600 branches. He will have his office in the Regions Bank Fayetteville branch at 150 West Lanier Avenue and he invites all his friends .

•Regions Bank announced that Sheila J. Crews has joined their lending group as Senior Vice President in charge of commercial lending and will oversee all of Fayette County commercial lending.

Sheila has over 30 years of commercial lending experience, most recently with Peachtree National Bank. She has been a shining example in the community, serving as a past president and board member of the South Fulton Rotary Club, chairperson for the South Fulton Chamber of Commerce and a board member for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.

Sheila resides in Douglas County with her husband Stanley.

They have two children, Michael and Ashley, and are member of the First Presbyterian Church of Douglasville.
