Fayette Community Hospital offers smoking cessation classes

Fayette Community Hospital is hosting a six-week program designed to assist people who are ready to quit smoking.

The class, entitled “Freedom from Smoking,” is comprised of seven sessions over a six-week period. Daytime and evening classes will be available. The daytime sessions will begin on October 5 and run every Tuesday through November 9 from 8-10 a.m. and from 6-8 p.m., including one Thursday session on October 21.

Led by an American Lung Association’s trained facilitator, the class promises to be both informative and enlightening. Come and hear proven strategies to quit smoking and share with others going through the same experience. Class space is limited and the registration fee is $25.
