Re/Max of Georgia, Inc., has named Don Dowd its regional director
for the state of Georgia. Most recently, Dowd worked as director
of business consulting services for Re/Max Regional Services.
“We are very enthusiastic about what Don’s extensive
background in the real estate industry and with the Re/Max network
will offer to the Georgia market,” said Darko Kapelina,
executive vice president and manager of operations of Re/Max
Regional Services.
“We are confident that his high level of expertise and
professionalism will enable Re/Max offices in Georgia to serve
the top 20-30 percent of the Realtor population and continue
to grow our dominating market position.”
Prior to joining Re/Max Regional Services, Dowd was the vice
president of operations for one of the largest Re/Max operations
in the nation. With more than 25 years of real estate experience,
Don has been recognized for his commitment through numerous awards
such as “Realtor of the Year Management” and Re/Max
of Georgia’s “Managing Broker of the Year.”
“I am eager to continue helping Re/Max offices and sales
associates grow by providing more expansive services,” said
Dowd. “This, in turn, will give the Georgia real estate
community a positive experience when buying or selling their
home with Re/Max.”
Dowd was the founder and director for the first international
chapter in Atlanta for the National Association of Realtors (NAR)
and also served on NAR’s International Operations Committee.
He holds many real estate designations including ABR, CIPS, CRB,
ITI and CNHS.
