Chuck Bernstein, president of Harvest Communities, announced
last week that the first phase of The Village at Gingercake,
a condominium community in Fayetteville, is completely sold out.
The first phase consists of 20 two- and three-bedroom ranch-style
homes that feature cathedral ceilings and spacious open floor
plans as well as enclosed verandas, private patios and two-car
attached garages.
The Village at Gingercake is on Gingercake Road, less than two
miles from the center of downtown Fayetteville, and will consist
of 68 homes as well as a beautifully equipped 3,000 sq. ft. clubhouse
with fitness center and a large heated pool and sundeck.
The site, one block north of Ga. Highway 54, consists of 17.2
level acres and 17 four-unit buildings. Exterior construction
is of stone and wood and will present an appearance similar to
a large, single-family home with high-pitched rooflines and round-top
palladium windows. Two floorplans consisting of a two-bedroom
plan of approximately 1,545 sq. ft. and a three-bedroom design
of 1,694 sq. ft. will each offer a completely enclosed, heated
and cooled and finished veranda that adds 200 sq. ft.
Site preparation is essentially complete with building construction
expected to begin shortly, making the first homes available by
fall.
Harvest Communities, affiliated with Epmark, Inc., one of the
nations premier developers of single-level condominium
communities, currently has The Village of Ashwood, an 86-unit
community in Chattanooga under construction as well as other
planned sites in pre-development.
