Summer break is rapidly coming to a close, so spending your
last Saturday before school starts at "The Last Fling" is
the best way to celebrate. "The Last Fling" is a family
fun event that won't hurt your pocket book, because the following
rides and games are free. This year’s list of fun and exciting
rides and games include: The Great Rock Wall, The Giant Slide,
The Iron Man Obstacle Course, A jousting game called "Rock
Em Sock Em", and Monster Truck Moon Walk. There is also
a money machine game with free prizes for all the winners. You
can also get your face painted free. Pony rides will also be
available for a nominal fee.
New this year is entertainer Joanna Maddox. She will sweep you
off your feet with her diva performance. She will wow you with
songs by Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, and Dianna Ross.
Also local non-profit vendors will sell food, drinks and snacks.
The "Last Fling" is held at Shakerag Knoll 191 McIntosh
Trail in Peachtree City (next to the BMX Track). The event is
on Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information please call
