Buckarama returns this weekendThe Georgia Wildlife Federation is proud to present the largest sportsmens show in the Southeast - the Atlanta Buckarama! The 2004 Buckarama will take place Aug. 5-8 at the Atlanta Expo Center. Visitors will be able to attend exciting seminars, enjoy numerous wildlife and conservation exhibits and test out and buy the latest outdoor equipment at bargain prices. Visitors will be able to see the new proposed World record Non-Typical Whitetail, which is perhaps the largest deer ever killed. The massive buck has eight normal tines and 30 abnormal tines pointing in all directions. The World Record Typical Whitetail will also be at the show, as will full-mount elk, buffalo,bear, mountain goat and big-horn sheep. Rodney Kelly, will have his North American Big Game Collection on display and will entertain and educate guests with a number of seminars. Grizzly Sam will also be a guest speaker at this years show. Other attractions include taxidermy displays, birds of prey exhibits, hunting dog shows and the Worlds Weirdest Whitetails antler collection. Guests can enter their deer head in a contest and be automatically eligible to win a brand new CVA deer rifle. The Atlanta Buckarama is an educational fundraising event sponsored by the Georgia Wildlife Federation, Georgias oldest and largest conservation organization and the state affiliate of the national Wildlife Federation. Admission to the show is $7 for adults, $4 for seniors and children ages 6-12. kids under the age of six are admitted for free. Parking is free. The Atlanta Expo Center is located off of I-285 at Exit 55.
