Local woman plans yard sale to aid orphans in UgandaJamie Rosser, a young Peachtree City woman, is planning a community yard sale Friday and Saturday, Aug. 13 and 14, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City. Proceeds from the sale will go to orphans in Uganda. Rosser recently made a mission trip to Uganda and said she was moved by the plight of children in the orphanage there. Rosser is seeking donations of items in good, clean condition which may be brought to Carriage Lane church weekdays from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 7, from 2-4 p.m. Donations are tax deductible and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the orphanage. Carriage Lane is on Ga. Hwy. 54, across the street from Holy Trinity Catholic Church. For more information or to make a donation, call the church office, 770-631-4618.
